'Kittiwake'

A bermuda rig Footy designed by Graham McAllister

'Kittiwake' is for 2 channel radio control, you control the rudder and the sail
position just like the full size craft. One standard and one micro size servos
are used, Hitec HS-55 micro servo recommended.

Construction is based on an accurate
ScaleSailing foam core which you
cover with thin plywood panels to
form the hull. Most parts are laser cut
for accuracy and ease of use.

Comprehensive step-by-step building
instructions include a photo CD
containing over 100 construction and
sailing photos. The CD will play on
your computer and most DVD players.

Despite their small size there is ample
room for the radio control installation.
The servo tray holds one standard
servo to operate the sails, a micro
servo to operate the rudder and the
switch. A 4 cell 'AA' battery and
receiver fit on the hull floor.

'Pintail'

A freelance lug rigged cabin cruiser just 12" long!
designed by Graham McAllister

'Pintail' is for 2 channel radio control, you control the rudder and the
sail position just like the full size craft. Two standard size servos are used.

Construction is based on an
accurate ScaleSailing foam
core which you cover with thin
plywood panels to form the hull.
Most parts are laser cut for
accuracy and ease of use. The
cabin is built from 1/32" laser
cut ply panels and the deck is
laser etched with planking detail.
Finished with clear varnish the
plywood glows! The hull can be
clear varnished too or spray
painted as you see here. Masts
are wooden dowel. Rigging on the
'Pintail' is very simple, unclip one
line and pull the mast out for
transport, but Footy yachts easily
fit on a car seat fully rigged...

Add a dapper 1/24th scale figure* cut off at the waist to complete the picture!
* not included in kit but available on request
