Sheboygan Area Model Yacht Club

This group exists to bring together model boat builders and sailors
in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin area. Our home water is Wood Lake
in Kohler just a few miles from Sheboygan. This is an ideal lake
suitable for the sailing of quiet model boats powered by electricity,
sail or steam. NO gas or nitro engines are allowed on Wood Lake.
We are not a club in the formal sense and have no dues. Our rules
are based on that required by our waters and general safety.

Radio controlled model Yachts are our main interest. We have
a growing fleet of 'Footy Class' yachts and run our annual
'Sheboygan Footy Fest' in mid May at Wood Lake.

Our regular sailing times are Sunday morning and Tuesday evening.
We are planning to hold low key Footy racing on the '3rd Sunday'
of each month from April 2009. Why not stop by and try one?
Then you can build a kit or buy 'ready to sail' and join the fleet!
